Nairne farm Yard- Plein Air

This painting was done "En Plein Air" in the Adelaide Hills near the town of Nairne. It's an evening  scene as the shadows start creeping across the hills.
it depicts the interaction between nature in the form of the giant gumtrees and the farms that operate in that area.
to their credit, the farmers of this area are very proud of these towering eucalyiptus trees.
It's a beautiful scene that is very  South Australian.
